About But Now

But Now is an archive featuring the audio of the preaching of Brother E.C. Moore, an evangelist out of Pensacola, Florida, as well as videos of teachings from Steve Gotberg of the Austin Bible Fellowship. Both hold fast to sound doctrine by following 2 Timothy 2:15.

What is Rightly Dividing?

The belief that we are not under the Law but under Grace.

Gal 2:16 "Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified."

2 Timothy 2:15 "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."

Based on these passages, we rightly divide the word knowing that the doctrine of the Church the Body of Christ is found in the apostle Paul’s epistles Romans through Philemon. We believe that the entire Bible is written for us but it is not all written to us.
